Sull'onda di un anomalo buonumore ho deciso di postare questi schizzi di canicarini, fatti qualche mese fa per prendere confidenza con la materia... per farli li ho guardati per ore, ogni volta che ne avevo la possibilità, questi sono proprio i primi che ho buttato giù e sono ancora un po' "materia grezza".
Posto anche un altro dei miei disegni liberi, questo è un foglio che tengo davanti al pc mentre hem.. mi imbottisco di streaming!

Flower power

Lo so, vi era mancato. é tornato più in forma che mai e ha chiesto di farvi avere questa foto bucolica... Ormai conosciamo bene mr Earl Grey e sappiamo che è un romanticone e non poteva resistere alla tentazione di dirvi  "hello" in mezzo ai fiori, con tanto di bombetta...
ps la slendida location della foto è l'orto di mio papà, un luogo anarchico dove convivono allegramente fiori e alberi di melo, piselli, topinambur, fragole, tulipani e una tartaruga  che si chiama Ivan-il-terribile.

I know you miss him. He is finally back in the best shape ever and he asked me to take this bucolic picture ...  We know that Mr. Earl Grey is a romantic and coudn't resist the temptation to say "hello" among the flowers,  with a bowler hat ... 
ps the beautiful  location of the photo is my fatehr's garden, an anarchic place where cheerfully live flowers and apple trees, peas, Jerusalem artichokes, strawberries, tulips and a turtle named Ivan-the-terrible.

Spring (knight-poet)

Ciao! Finalmente è spuntata la primavera e con il cambio dell'armadio arriva anche il momento dell'archiviazione dei file...Ed ecco spuntare lui! Un mio vecchissimo (vabbè dai, tre anni fa ) schizzo...Realizzato alla ricerca del giusto protagonista per il mio primo libro illustrato...Insieme a decine di altri cavalieri disegnai lui: il cavaliere-poeta, che rimane il mio preferito... Lo volevo condividere qui sul blog perchè sono ancora molto affezionata a questo personaggio (anche se non è un disegno nuovo e di solito i miei vecchi disegni non mi piacciono mai) e perchè l'immagine suggerisce bene la spledida sensazione di ritrovarsi finalmente col sole sulla faccia...

Hi! Finally it's spring! When I was registering my old files, this one magically appears! It is an old charachter design made for my first Picture-book (three years ago)... Whit a lot of other knights I drwan him: the knight-poet! My favourite one. I'd like to share this sketch with you because I'm still attached with this nice illustration (even if it's an old-one! I don't usually like my old sketches) and because this image suggests the feeling of being good at last with the sun on your face ...

Golden Bees

Last night, as I was sleeping
I dreamt - marvealous error!-
that I have a beehive

Mr Earl Grey's advice (il consiglio di mr Earl Grey)

Ciao! Scrivo dalla Svizzera perchè da un paio di giorni sono a Ginevra... come ci sono arrivata?Affrontando la notte bianca torinese, e non immagine quante persone più o meno ubriache hanno voglia di chiaccherare alle 4 del mattino con una ragazza con una valigia...Insomma a Ginevra sono giunta stressata dal lavoro, priva di sonno da circa 26 ore e con gli occhi fuori dalle orbite per sfinimento. A quel punto è intervenuto Mr Earl Grey (che ovviamente si è infilato nella valigia di straforo) e mi ha intimato di smetterla di insistere a pensare ai contratti di lavoro orribili o inesistenti, alla fatica di ore e ore di treno gelato e allo smarrimento della pioggia continua a Torino come a Ginevra. Dov'erano finiti i suoi insegnamenti? Calmarsi e affrontare la vita con un tocco di fatalismo e di ironia in più, sopratutto i problemi quotidiani che a volte ti fanno trovare faccia a faccia con cose meschine che non dipendono da te....Come al  solito ha ragione lui... e per convincermi ancora di più della sua teoria è arrivato portando con sè un meraviglioso dolcino portoghese che si chiama Pastais de Nata... Slurp!
Niente di meglio di un momento dolcezza per ricordarsi un consiglio saggio...

Hi everybody! Now i'm in Geneva (I'm here for few days)...I arrived here very stressed about my job ,my future and exhausted... But mr Earl Grey was with me and he decided to change my days... He ordered me to stop thinking about work and the little everyday-life problems etc etc "calm down and face life with a little touch of irony...." and to convince me, he brought me a delicious portoguese dessert called Pastais de Nata...Slurp!
Nothing better that a sweet moment to remember a wise advice...

Rocked by the  beautiful voice of Morrissey and his "please please please ... let me let me let me, let me get what i want ... (pause) this time" I've done this sketch.

Funny dancer

Hi everybody! This is a charachter-design I drawn today in pause-time during my work...I look at it and I found It funny so, at home, I decided to give also a little touch of color...I realised that I draw every day for eigth hours at work, then I come back home and re-start to do the same thing but only for my pleasure...Crazyness? I have to go out more... ;)
When i draw someone I always have clear in my mind what he thinks and what is his attitude...In this case she is a self-pleased young dancer very proud of her new tutù.

Ciao a tutti! Ecco qui un altro charachter design buttato giù in una pausa dal lavoro...guardandolo l'ho trovato carino e, a casa, ho deciso di provare a dare un tocco di colore...Ho realizzato che disegno otto ore al giorno poi torno a casa e disegno le mie cose, per divertimento...Pazzia? Devo assolutamente uscire di più ;) il gelo totale di questi giorni non aiuta e vorrei che arrivasse presto un po' di bel tempo per fare passeggiate, uscire, andare in giro con un gelato...
Quando disegno qualcuno ho sempre molto chiaro in testa chi è e quale attitudine verso il mondo ha ...in questo caso è un'autocompiaciuta ballerina tutta fiera del suo nuovo tutù.
